Clearfield is a city in Davis County, Utah. It is a suburban community located only few miles away from the eastern shore of the Great Salt Lake. According to the United States Census Bureau of 2000, Clearfield has a population of more than 25,000 people. The city has a total area of 7.7 square miles with a population density of over 3,300 people per square mile. It is located at high altitudes of over 4,500 feet above sea level.
